How GRAVITON‑1 Works
Single-day snapshot · No historical data needed
M01 · BUCKET
Price Anchoring
Snaps price to its nearest mathematically significant level — the gravitational anchor for level generation.
Nearest n² anchor
M02 · %R ZONE
Williams %R Zone
Measures where today's close sits within today's range. 5 colour-coded zones from Oversold (red) to Strong (green).
Intraday position
M03 · MOMENTUM
3-Factor Score
Blends short/long trend alignment, 52-week range position, and today's bar strength into a single 0–100 momentum score.
0 → 100 composite
M04 · AGREEMENT
Signal Agreement
Counts how many perfect-power families (n², n³, n⁴, 2ⁿ) have a value near current price. Higher agreement = stronger S&R zone.
0–4 family overlap
M05 · LEVELS
S&R Generation
Projects nearest support and resistance from perfect-power offsets scaled to today's price range. No historical data needed.

About the Founder
NR
Nirakar Rathod
Founder & Research Developer, TradingVidya

Nirakar Rathod is the founder of TradingVidya, a market intelligence platform focused on mathematics-driven analysis of financial markets, with a particular emphasis on volatility structures and deterministic price relationships.

His work centers on the idea that market price movement, while often perceived as random, frequently interacts with structured levels derived from volatility, probability distributions, and mathematical relationships within price itself. This belief led to the development of analytical frameworks that combine volatility modeling with numerical price symmetries.

TradingVidya was created to translate these concepts into practical tools for Indian traders — making institutional-style analytical methods accessible without expensive software or proprietary platforms.

Research Focus

Nirakar's analytical research primarily focuses on three areas of market structure:

Volatility-Based Market Frameworks

A core part of his research examines how India VIX implied volatility influences expected price movement in equity indices. This work led to the development of tools that generate daily and intraday break levels and expected move bands based on volatility-derived probability ranges.

Mathematical Price Relationships

Another key area explores mathematical symmetry in price behaviour — particularly through perfect power relationships such as square and cube roots embedded within price structures. These concepts inspired the Perfect Power Method², which identifies potential support and resistance zones based on numerical relationships rather than subjective chart interpretation.

Structural Momentum Analysis

Nirakar studies how market momentum interacts with structural positioning within broader price ranges. Indicators such as Williams %R positioning, long-term range placement, and multi-factor momentum scoring create context around market strength and weakness — forming the foundation of the GRAVITON-1 analytical filter.

Philosophy Behind TradingVidya

The central philosophy guiding Nirakar's work is that market analysis should be transparent, reproducible, and rooted in logic rather than opinion.

Many retail trading platforms rely heavily on proprietary indicators or signal-based systems that obscure the underlying logic. TradingVidya takes a different approach by focusing on deterministic models where every level generated by the platform can be explained through clear mathematical reasoning. This approach allows traders to understand not only where a level exists, but also why it exists.

Rather than providing trading recommendations, the platform aims to equip traders with analytical frameworks that help them interpret volatility, probability, and market structure more effectively.

Vision

Nirakar's long-term vision for TradingVidya is to develop a platform that functions as a mathematical market intelligence layer for Indian traders — combining volatility analytics, structured price models, and transparent methodologies into tools that improve market understanding.

The goal is not to simplify trading through signals, but to improve decision-making through structured analysis.

Markets often appear chaotic on the surface, but beneath that movement there are repeating relationships driven by volatility and mathematical structure. Understanding those relationships helps traders approach markets with logic rather than luck.

Logic Nodes
Condition (IF)
Branch YES / NO
Logic
Evaluates a custom condition. Routes to YES port if true, NO port if false. Can be used anywhere in the flow. Example: "RSI < 30", "spread < 0.1%", "MACD > Signal".
Loop / Retry
Retry up to N times
Logic
Retries the previous operation up to N times with a configurable interval. Use after Execute Trade (on fail) or Exec Gate (on retry). Exits via DONE when max retries reached.
Bypass
Skip if condition met
Logic
Skips a section of the flow if a specified condition is met. Example: bypass position check if paper trading mode is active.
AND / OR Gate
Combine multiple inputs
Logic
AND Gate: All connected inputs must pass to continue. OR Gate: Any one input passing is sufficient. Connect multiple Indicator outputs to AND/OR before Signal Validation.
Data Nodes
WebSocket Feed
Live tick · depth · orders
Data
Connects to AliceBlue ANT WebSocket for live price ticks and L2 depth. Essential for intraday strategies that need real-time LTP. Modes: LTP only · LTP + Depth · Full Feed.
Historical Data
gethistoricaldata OHLCV
Data
Fetches OHLCV historical data for backtesting indicators. ANT API limit: 20 days. The Timeframe node validates indicator lengths against this limit automatically.
Funds / Margin
getRmsLimits · getSpanMargin
Data
Fetches available cash, used margin and collateral from AliceBlue. Connect to Risk Sizing to ensure orders are within available funds before execution.

Golden Rules
1
Always start with Stock Selection. Screener or Graviton‑1 must be the first meaningful node. Without a stock list, nothing downstream has a symbol to act on.
2
Indicators need a data source. Connect WebSocket Feed or Historical Data to the Indicator Engine, not just Screener directly. Screener provides the stock list; data nodes provide the price data the indicators calculate on.
3
Always set SL and Target in Order Type. The flow validation score won't reach 100% and Go Live stays locked until both Stop Loss value and Target value are configured.
4
Risk Sizing before Execute. Never connect Order Type directly to Execute Trade — always pass through Risk Sizing first. This ensures position size is checked against available margin.
5
Timeframe validates indicator lengths. If you use a 1-minute timeframe, RSI(14) needs 14 bars but EMA(200) needs 200 bars — exceeding the 20-day limit. Timeframe node shows a red warning when this happens.
6
Condition nodes can go anywhere. The IF node accepts ANY input and outputs YES/NO. Use it to add custom gates between any two nodes — e.g. "only proceed if VIX < 20".
7
Graviton SC Buy ≠ Screener Strong Bull. Graviton uses a multi-factor confirmation model (3/3 = high confidence). Screener uses VIX Break Level signals. They can be used together (connect both to the same Indicator Engine) for higher confluence.
8
Double-click a node header to pin it open. A small blue dot appears — the node stays expanded even when you click elsewhere. Double-click again to unpin. Click a node once to open it; click canvas to close all unpinned nodes.
9
Auto-connect finds the nearest compatible node. Hover a node to see the Auto-connect button at the bottom. It connects to the nearest compatible unconnected node automatically, saving you from manual wiring.
10
Market Session node is NOT required. When you log in with ANT, the session is already live. Market Session only adds an explicit hours-check gate — useful for overnight strategies but not needed for standard intraday flows.
